Minimal, premium, skincare-grade. Taken from their websites (type, palette, price, positioning) and their live Meta ads. Tick the ones to go with; then I build the plan.

"The SK-II Secret — for lifelong youthful skin." One ingredient, PITERA™, inspired by the youthful hands of elderly sake brewers. That is their whole homepage.
The "secret ingredient" narrative for swiftlet nest / LASIAL™ · one hero SKU · red-on-cream restraint · a Japanese ambassador face.

"Curate your skincare ritual" — Japanese heritage, sold to Americans as a daily ceremony.
Ritual framing for the daily stick · heritage motif (crane / swiftlet, gold on indigo) · gift-set as the premium entry.

"Feed your skin everything it needs." One product for years. Waitlists, not discounts.
Single-hero discipline · "feed your skin" as our literal claim · time-based ritual ("one stick, twenty seconds") · waitlist for limited sets.

"The Science of Youth." A longevity supplement sold like a medical device, with a surgeon explaining it.
"Science of youth" tone for BI-SU longevity · the doctor talking-head (we have the vet plate; JP dermatologist for BI-SU) · black-and-grey minimal.
ImageLYMA Laser PRO — clinic technology at home.

"What if you could choose your age?" — Anticipate · Intercept · Reset. Launched to dermatologists at the AAD in March 2026.
The by-life-stage structure (early / mid / mature) for BI-SU messaging · "choose your age" tone · the GLP-1 collagen hook · a dermatologist face for authority.

Miracle Broth™ — one fermented ingredient, one origin story (a burned scientist, 12 years, 6,000 experiments), sold for 60 years.
The origin-legend structure for LASIAL™ / the nest · ambassador film about a woman, product last · one colour, one object.
VideoAmbassador film — "a brief pause amid the whirlwind… the journey that brought me here."

the legend →

"Beauty crafted in time." Six decades of ginseng mastery — an Asian heritage ingredient made into American luxury.
"Four hundred years of the nest" as our "six decades" line · deep-green + gold done properly · heritage as the longevity claim.

"The serum that reactivates skin youth." A doctor-founder brand that already sells inner beauty (Skin Food capsules) next to the creams.
The founder-doctor authority (JP dermatologist for BI-SU) · "Skin Food" as a naming idea for the jelly · monochrome text-led statics.
Image"The Skincare Power Tools that Restore Skin Youth." Type-led static.

Image ads from this set that translate directly to BI-SU — same layout, our product, our claim. Pick two or three and I brief them.

Why it works: Product on deep green, one heritage claim, nothing else.
Ours: Jelly stick on our emerald, "400 years of swiftlet nest. One stick a day."

Why it works: Type-led, monochrome, a claim in capitals — reads as clinical luxury.
Ours: "The inner care that restores skin youth." Black type on stone, stick beneath.

Why it works: Product + one named technology ("Advanced Collagen Complex").
Ours: Stick + "EBN Glyco-Collagen" as the named technology. One line.

Why it works: Product on a textured surface, heritage motif, soft light.
Ours: Stick on washi paper, gold crane, "Japan's top-selling edible serum".

Why it works: Black product on grey, science tone, no people.
Ours: BI-SU box on grey, "The science of youth, taken daily."

Why it works: A number frame — "90 days" — as the whole ad.
Ours: "90 days of BI-SU." Day 1 / Day 90 skin, our guarantee.

Why it works: A quote card. Text is the visual.
Ours: Owner quote: "Nobody warned me about the skin part." Age 40+.

Why it works: Mechanism named as a system, product beside it.
Ours: "EBN Glyco-Collagen — the 3-in-1 inner-beauty network." Stick + three icons.

Why it works: Same woman, morning vs evening — a before/after that is not a "before/after". Sachets in the middle.
Ours: "The glow at 8am. What happened by 8pm?" Same face, two light setups, stick in the centre. Our first B/A without saying it.

Why it works: Ingredient honesty: "a clean label doesn't tell the whole story". Dark, premium, product-forward.
Ours: "One ingredient. The whole story." — the nest, the stick, nothing else on a dark ground.

Why it works: Product in hand, one GLP-1 line: "you planned to shed weight, not hair". Sunlight, no set.
Ours: "You planned to shed weight. Not collagen." Stick in hand, sunlight. Our GLP-1 skin line.

Why it works: Free Welcome Kit, valued $115 — the subscription offer as a gift, product-only, white.
Ours: "Free Welcome Kit — valued $60." Signature Set + 7 free sticks, white ground, one green button.

Why it works: Symptom list for the 40+ woman ("it's not you, it's your hormones"). Text-led.
Ours: "Dull skin. Fine lines. Slower glow. It's not you — it's collagen after 40." Text-led, our pink.

Why it works: One colour floods the frame; product set + a small offer badge. Premium DTC at its cleanest.
Ours: BI-SU pink floods the frame; Signature Set + "25% off" badge. One colour, one set.
Augustinus Bader — dropped on request; its Auto-Replenish idea survives in the notes. Vida Glow — marine-collagen sachets, the closest product format to ours (and a new "longevity" range), but no US ads right now. vidaglow.com ↗
Rhode — minimal and huge, but mass-premium ($16–30), Gen-Z. Wrong price tier for BI-SU. Dr. Barbara Sturm — molecular skincare + "Skin Food" supplements, very premium; site is busier than the rest. Aesop — the minimal benchmark, but no Meta ads and a different category.
